Three Levels of Certification

Cisco offers three levels of general certification: Associate, Professional, and Expert (CCIE; representing the highest level of achievement).

Six Different Paths

Various paths (or tracks) such as Routing and Switching, Network Security, and Service Provider are available so individuals can match their certification path to their job role or industry.

Certifications in Focused Areas

In addition to general certifications, network professionals can enhance their core networking knowledge by achieving specialist certification in technologies such as security, IP telephony, and wireless.

CCDP Exam
The CCDP certification indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of network design.

CCDA Exam
Cisco's CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) is an introductory to mid-level certification for IT professionals.

CCNP Exam
The CCNP certification (Cisco Certified Network Professional) indicates advanced or journeyman knowledge of networks.

CCNA Exam
The CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of networking.

CCIE Exam
The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE Certification ™) program sets the professional benchmark for internetworking expertise.

CCSP Exam
The CCSP certification (Cisco Certified Security Professional) indicates advanced knowledge of securing Cisco networks.
